Leaning against the wall of the backside of The Ackerly Building, Hoxton Hanno tapped the bottom of his cigarette pack against his palm. He wore a deep scowl on his face, though nothing had been particularly bad about his day. He lit a match and held it up to the end of his cigarette as he puffed in that sweet, intoxicating nicotine. He could feel it swirling in his lungs while he let out a slow, deliberate breath. A large, black dog appeared beside him. While a black dog would usually be seen as a bad omen, he had taken comfort in Hekabe's visits. She curled herself on the grass next to his feet. Hoxton took another drag on his cigarette. He loved the back of The Ackerly Building. Not just for the beauty of South Campus and it's red-bricked, viney buildings, but he could feel the magic emanating from it. It was probably why they decided to have the magic courses in this building in the first place. Being a son of Hecate, magical places had always been of comfort to him; that and he loved that no one usually bothered him back here.
